Eyes on Every Nest

Since 2009, our volunteers have tracked osprey nesting pairs across the Bay's tidal rivers and shorelines. Each season we record clutch sizes, fledgling success, and migration patterns — building one of the region's most detailed long-term datasets on this iconic Bay raptor.

Oyster Restoration

Rebuilding the Bay's Natural Filter

A single oyster filters up to 50 gallons of water per day. Our reef restoration program plants shell and spat at targeted sites, working with watermen, scientists, and neighbors to bring back the living reefs that once defined the Chesapeake. Every bushel planted is a step toward a cleaner Bay.
